Inspire is a partnership of six of local organisations who have joined together to offer all round support for whatever your goal is when you come to us. So, with your agreement, we can refer you to our partners who can offer further support to power your recovery.
Criminal Justice
We have a dedicated team who support people who are in contact with the criminal justice system, based in the police stations, courts, probation, and prisons to connect with people when they need our support.
Our team of friendly professionals have lived experience and a good understanding of the criminal justice system. They know the ropes, have faced similar challenges, and are keen to help support you from the start to empower you to take that next step in your life.
As well as substance use and wellbeing support, we support individuals to live independent, crime free lives. We all have unique personal experiences that impact us differently, so Inspire support for alcohol and drugs aims to be inclusive of that.
Outreach
Our outreach team works with people who are rough sleeping. We work at hostels and day centres and offer support around all aspects of health and wellbeing to help people to achieve their goals.
Individual Placement and Support (IPS)
Inspire’s dedicated IPS Employment team work alongside people accessing alcohol and drug services to find meaningful employment.
Getting back into employment can be a vital part of a recovery journey, helping people to find structure, purpose, confidence and build financial independence.
The service we offer includes tailoring support to each individual, which can include building CVs and honing interview skills, identifying a person’s transferable skills considering any previous experience, and growing their confidence to re-enter the world of employment.
The team also work closely with loyal employers to offer advice and encouragement throughout the employment process, carefully matching candidates to roles and offering ongoing support throughout the early stages of their employment.
